Your poem tells it all. I enjoyed your take on this article. It was well done and informative. You should make a song out of it, maybe people will listen then. Great job. Judy

At this time I am having enough problems recording poetry. I did get one done with the Sound of Life. But I am aiming for a more professional quality and had to pick up two bigger microphones and more equipment. I appreciate your suggestion and will bring people in to work it when I have the basics down. Thank you very much for your consideration, compliments and this review.

I liked the poem, everything about it, rhythm, color presentation, artwork, word pix. I do think, though, that explanation could have been posted successfully as an essay. maybe think about it; I actually liked the explanation bettter than the poem! shy

Thanks for sharing this with the forum Mile. Let us hope that they can discuss things civilly; perhaps, with open communication, we'll get this thing ended.

An excellently constructed piece of writing that more than makes the point.
Your author notes are helpful in providing clarity and in matching the intended mission with the final piece.
Brilliant Stuff!

It's funny that i thought of the Taliban while I was reading this and before I saw your notes. There's a ton of truth packed into this one. However there can be no peace when religious fanaticism is involved (not to mention a very lucrative opium trade).
It appears in many facets and in many countries. Need I say more?

Hi Mike,
This is a well-written poem with great commentary on the current events of importance happening in our world today. I love reading a great political rant, as well as writing them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

I would read the news more often if
they were written like this poem.
I like this stanza...
Never mind that we killed
the first person who would run.
Your anti-president stance
vote tells us, you're the one.
Thank you for sharing your well written poem.

Poetic news, let them seek to put out balanced facts first. The best newspaper that I read was from my fathers time. This happened, that happened. Just a paragraph or two, but it allowed one to really know what was going on, with little room to spin it. Thank you very much for your compliments and this review.

That part was mentioned in the note. It was the Taliban leaders who were under attack. I wrote it as if I was one of them, but hnest in my opinion. Thanks for the review.

I can appreciate your author comments on this piece. As a former marine, I for one don't need them to enjoy and relate to your poem however. Good work.

Well, the poem is intended to be sarcastic humor, yet make a point. I did one titled, "Martyr" Wher the general response was, "Oh my God! He's a terrorist...Wait a minute, this doesn't make any sense. The poem was in response of the media reporting dead terrorists as martyrs, just because they call themselves that doesn't mean that they truely are. Let's start with the victoms of terror first. Thank you for your compliments, this review and aslo your service. MikeK
