Dear Bob, I love your lyrical song of contentment, though I kept on wanting to read "Let it be" at the end of each stanza:)
"I('m) almost stealing a Beatles title..."
Fun and a delight to read, Bob, in your very own inimitable style! Well done! Warm wishes Debbie

I wanted to call it that but I feared that word, plagiarism.

No, Let it Be is in common usage and not patented by The Beatles, surely!

This sounds like a very content and settled perspective on life. Most people would be happy to feel as you do. This is well written and is supported by your title. So many people do not feel satisfied with their lives but seem to be at peace and even grateful for your life,
Good for you,
Alex

Excellent rhymed poem with a nice flow and composition.
I think it's important to be greatful for what we have.
I like the Beatles song, "let it be" I don't think there are any of there songs I don't like.
Well done

Sounds like you might be my vintage. We certainly lived in the greatest musical era. Thanks for the review.

Your poem has such a warm feel to it! I love how it celebrates the simple joys of life. I love the idea of appreciating what's already good instead of always chasing more. The poem flows smoothly. For me this was a reminder to treasure what we have - well done!

Your final sentence says it all. We must learn to treasure and share what we have.
