Ms Debbie and I are friends. She's a sweetie just like you. I have made a lot of friends on this site. Some closer than other. Like Begin Again, her and I are like sisters. I call her my sister from another mister.

Joan, I must answer you immediately. I am so sorry about your brother in-law. This is so sad for you and of course for your sister. You, girl are in my prayers too, along with your sister and for your entire family. Where did they live? Gosh I am just so sorry and I just wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. Please accept my deepest condolences and if you would allow me, I would let the others know with a short poem for you to get more prayers and support for you and your sister right now. Please let me know as I would be happy to do that for you. That is what I am here for, OK?

Hi Debi. Thanks for getting back so quickly. They live in Illinois, but he died in Florida where they vacation every year during the Winter. So she has to have the body shipped home.

A wonderful job with this birthday poem for Angel Debbie! I went over and looked her up... sure enough, there she was! So I read and reviewed one of her poems about a Christmas Eve fiasco... so funny! She joined Fanstory just one month later than me in 2010, yet I don't think I ever crossed paths with her in all these years. Isn't that something?
I especially liked your introduction in that first verse,
"When Christmas lights around the town
And decorations all come down
The stars and angel's off the tree
There's still one here at FanStory" ... I wrote a poem years ago about the aftermath of Christmas, how sad it was to see decorations blown here and there in the neighborhood, and poor Christmas tree (once the star of the living room) tinsel- tossed out and over the back deck!
Thanks for introducing me to Angel Debbie. I'll be reading more of her stuff in the near future!
