It is the reflection of the lights on the window. Just a reminder that some need help this season. God bless!

Me and my sister knit scarves and hats for the homeless. She is teaching me new things. Keep busy doing stuff for others and you do not have a lot of time to be sad. Clean writing. But still, very sad. Embrace the new year. Karen

It took me a second but it came to me and then I wondered if anyone tied whiskey bottles to some trees, Would that be mean or well intended? i don't know. I have never been where so many are.

That might be a bad deal for addicts and me mental people.

Dear D,
Thank you for this powerful message, my friend. A polar vortex is coming this week so the need is great. Food banks and shelters need donations. Many churches give out food. The church nextdoor to us gives out free groceries monthly. The lines of recipients back up for blocks. My company aids many local charities. Again, the need is huge. Do what you can even if you think it doesn't matter. One person's life matters.
Sending along my very best.

This is a skilful and challenging post and I hope there will be a positive outpouring of compassion and action. It is wrong and sad that some can celebrate with no desire to help those less fortunate, who lose their lives because of a lack of shared humanity.

Wow. This one reached out and shook me out of my reverie. Actually, my grandkids and I buy lots of gloves, scarves, and hats from November 1 to Christmas Eve, and then we drive through the city handing them out to homeless people or anyone else who looks cold and alone. We've been warned by the police that this could be dangerous. The only thing we've ever been assaulted with is smiles.
Your suggestions are all great. The only wrong thing to do...is nothing!
Merry Christmas!

Awesome to hear from you, by the way!

Your 5-7-5 verse skilfully conveys a message to remember the homeless amid all the celebrations and the battle they so often face just to survive in extreme temperatures and adversity. Great call, Doug, and good luck! Debbie

Thank you. Thought it was a good way to remind people that the harsh conditions are hurting some.
