Great work with your nonet form. It looks beautiful on the page and flows well. Your syllable count is correct. You describe what flows from the writer's mind very well. The words can touch lives and restore faith. They can also be abrasive. Excellent use of alliteration. Best of luck in the contest. judi

Hello Yvette.
I am familiar with the nonet style, and it appears to me you have met it quite well. I like the starting line a lot. That is a setup for the reader and raises expectations. You met the expectations in subsequent lines.
Z
I hope you have a joyful Thanksgiving.

Once again you prove your effusive use of esoteric vocabulary.
I applaud you in this as it levitates your prosaic art to a height beyond that of the linguistically challenged.
The little cheat sheet at the end is a masterpiece.

Yeah, had to do the cheat sheet since so many of my last reviews were at a loss for the meanings of some of the words I used... must be a shortage of dictionaries in the world of which I am unaware..LOL!! ;-) ;-) Thanx for stopping in to review this one, Tim -- so good to see your smiling face in the line up, sir!! Take care! ;) Yvette

That is an excellent nonet, Yvette, and beautifully thought out. A writer is all that, and more. Without writing, we would be empty, I need to write, and don't know what I'd do if I had to stop. Very well done, my friend, and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

And, yet, sometimes, I still find myself avoiding it... who knows?! :) Thanx so much for the wonderful review, my lady! Hope y'all are happily readying for Christmas over there... Take care! ;) Yvette

We are slowly getting ready. Why are you avoiding writing? I'm still waiting for that shed door to open up again!! If that isn't incentive enough, I'm in trouble, I won't get to read what happens next!! Change the title and start again from chapter 1. 🥰xx

The author's words are interesting, clear and creative. I also thought the
poem was extremely thought provoking. I enjoyed the read it was different and made the reader stop and ponder. The poem flows and
connects well. The artwork is awesome! Great Poem!

Yvette,
This is an excellent nonet poem. The words flow nicely from top to bottom. The words are very powerful. I like the line, "Eccentric ink with fanciful vibes." Your imagination is quite vivid.
Great job and good luck in the contest.

Twas quiet around here.... my boys were at their father's side for the holiday this year... worked a 12 hour on Wednesday and had to be at work before the crack of dawn on Black Friday so, quiet was nice. :-) ;-) Thanx for asking, my lady! :) Yvette

Yvette,
You are quite welcome my friend.

As lovely as can be nonet, my nonet friend. You have a great looking one and beautifully centered too. Dang, I thought I had a (slight) chance in this contest! Poof! There it went. ;)) :))
If you win, I consider it a double win. After all, we are co-joined in the nonet in a most peculiar but spiritual way. Hahaha!
My very wishes in the contest, dear.

LOL! My last couple of posts had reviews expressing 'dismay' at not knowing the meaning of words... guess the dictionary is a lost art..? Sigh. Thanx so much for the review, sir! Hope all's well down there! ;) Yvette

You keep on being articulate Yvette, great language. I've been impressed for your depth of vocabulary, well done.
Comment from Dolly'sPoems
Are you referring to the bold writings of Shakespeare here as he shared his stories and poems that still resonate today? His stories had a ring of truth to them and your nonet expresses his faithful intentions from beyond the grave. A perfectly formed nonet Yvette, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I do like me Shakespeare, my lady, but this was simply 'bards' in general... :-) Thanx so much for the review, Dolly! Hope you and yours are looking forward to a great Christmas Season (and look forward to reading more of you about such!)! ;) Yvette

This is an excellent nonet. i like the sords you used and the alliteration in some of the line and the fact that you rhymed it. To touch lives and restory faith is a tall challenge but a good poem can accomplish that.
