This 3-6-9 seems could be about a mother trying to quiet down here warring children. The may quiet down but do stay mad as is shown by folded arms.

I think my association with the Holy Spirit wends its way through a lot of things that would be associated with the abstract, after all Jesus was the greatest of all abstractionists, some folk didn't and would never know what He was talking about, come to think about, how on earth did I know? , beautifully written Yvette, good luck...this time, blessings Roy

Great artwork choice. Not my favorite art form, but it really works for your thought. It indicates the confusion and disarray being felt, especially at this point in time. It does seem there's been a battle of words going on, relating to the election, in particular. We're nearing Thanksgiving time, when the focus should be on peace and giving thanks. Instead, some people are opting to shun their families because of political differences. Your words are well chosen, and the syllable count is correct for each stanza. An excellent contest entry, and best of luck! judi

And, yes, I'm pretty sure the election probably played a role, but more just the state of affairs of our world right now... need to NOT let it bother me, but once in a while those volatile 'wars' sneak up on one who worked in the defense industry for some time... You take care out there and keep up the optimism -- we all need some of that and a huge dose of prayers!! ;) Yvette
