A nice little twist at the end of your senryu as the reader lazily waits for the revelatory solution! It's as good an answer as any. After all, life is what happens when we're busy making plans! My only suggestion would be to make the font slightly larger and centre it so that it makes the visual impact it deserves. Well done, Pam! Debbie

hi Deb. I don't know how to make the font larger. I chose the largest possible that I could find and I don't know how to center it
Thanks for the great review either.

Hi Pam, you must be in 'basic editor' which doesn't offer the options. Go into 'advanced editor' and you'll see at the top how to centre your text and also give you a choice of font styles and sizes. If, for whatever reason, you can't do this, have a word with Tom. But it should be straightforward:)

Pam,
Great poem. Speaks volumes. Yes, sometimes throwing a dart at life and see where it lands. It seems like the only choice sometimes. I wonder what infrastructure that's a picture. The picture of the Dallas infrastructure looks pretty intimidating.
Great job.

hi Cecilia. do you think this is this a grid of Dallas, Texas? I wouldn't know what in any case thank you for your wonderful review.
-
Oh no. Dallas grid looks like someone threw a bowl of spaghetti on it. We got bridges going willy nilly out here.
This is a place that if you are afraid to drive I don't recommend. You need nerves of steel to drive through Dallas and Fort Worth.

I can see where this could be serious, however this might be a good suggestion if when life is becomming difficult or unbearable. A very clever Senyru.

I loved this Senryu. It is indeed how life leads us so. It's easy yo hope all eill he on one good path but so many times there's all the twists and turns in the game of life chances. Sometimes that dart lands on good direction and unfortunately it can land in bad as well. Hopefully we learn to deal with it whichever way it leads us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.

That's a surprising solution senryu! These days we don't even have paper maps on our walls. It's all online and I wouldn't throw "darts" at the screen. Lol. Maybe these days we can use those screen pens. Or we could pray.

In other words, make lemonade out of lemons. Choose a good path when there is none to choose from throw darts at the map. I like that philosophy. We need to stay positive and make love, not war. Otherwise, we are doomed to create havoc and other unseemly things that are best forgotten. Let's keep throwing darts at the proverbial map.

The image of throwing darts at a map brings a sense of adventure. Your words are a reminder that sometimes randomness is the best guide! This piece feels like a gentle nudge to trust the journey wherever it may lead. Beautifully done!

Well, you succeeded in making me chuckle at the unexpected punch line of your senryu. I'm thinking your advice is not a bad idea for someone who can't determine his/her life's direction. Rod

It is humorous but has a hint of realism in it. I have often felt like just throwing a dart at a map. I think it might work out a little better. LOL Thank you for sharing this poem with us.

I like this Pam, when all else fails, make a wild guess and go from there, and everything will be ok, heh heh. That makes sense, I must admit I've felt like that, but the feeling goes away, too many depending on you, heh heh, well done, blessings Roy
