I am sorry the election did not go your way but the people have spoken and you can do nothing but accept the result. If it is any consolation, I felt the same way about our election as the labour party won and my life changed as our Prime Minister has complete disregard for pensioners and he cut allowances for them overnight.
I supported Trump because he was the lesser of the two evils. The US needs a strong leader because for the past four years they have been weak with Biden at the helm and now we are suffering inflation and wars all over the world.
Trump will help America's economy back on its feet, and hopefully they will prosper, he will secure the borders and stop illegals from walking in and stealing from hard working Americans. Hopefully he will also mend relations with Russia and China which will secure a peaceful world. Trump has an unpredictable tongue and he is a loose cannon at times, but his basic principles as a Republican will improve the lives or ordinary Americans.
You may not agree with me as we differ in our opinions on occasions, but I wish you happiness and you must try and see the positives for the future.
Your poem is heartfelt and emotional.

I do feel for you. And you are right: Kamala presented herself with grace during her speech, and the very fact of the peaceful acceptance of the results is a sign of integrity. The other, acting like a spoilt and whining brat last time (and threatening a repeat tantrum if he didn't get his way this time) was a disgusting display of who he is within, and that is not how I perceive leadership.
