What is done can't be changed because the past is what it is - the past. Instead we should greet each day with the promise of being the best we can possibly be and to be happy with what is given to us. Tomorrow can't b changed before we get there so enjoy each day as it comes.

Roy, I like how you remind us that time waits for no man and we must greet each day as a chance to learn something new. The Speaker also reminds us God is always with him in life and in the hereafter. Rod

I remember hearing an aunt tell me one time, "Don't borrow the joy from tomorrow. Spend the joy of the present while it's in your hands." Took me years to figure out what she meant, but once I did, I never forgot it. Beautiful poem, Roy. Gretchen

Virtual six, my brother. I love it when you write of being made in your mother's womb. Why has the world forgotten that miracle and sacred place? I'm daily rejoicing in life and life in Christ. Those truths are holding me together at present. Thanks again.
Blessings to you always.

We cannot return to the past, so why be anxious about those things that are gone. We have an eternal promise in Jesus Christ and here is where our eyes should lie, even so, let us focus on the day, meaning the current and present day, today. Nicely expressed.
