Ah yes - from food fight to prayer meeting and spiritual singalong, FanStorians run the gamut of How to Party...well, until they need to meet a writing deadline, and then all bets are off. Fun frolick here, Helen; if you left anyone out, it was pure oversight. xoxo

Yes, and with so many there are bound to be people I mistakenly omitted! Thanks for the challenge! I was tough writing with the trick-or-treating going on! Hugs!

Were you able to work in all your FS friends? Thanks for bringing a measure of decorum to the food fight situation. I like the song you chose. We used to sing the Lutkin 'Benediction' based on the same scripture. Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings & hugs. Carol

Thank you so much, Carol! No, I still missed some! I tried! Each Fanstory friend has different talents and interests and themes that they write about.
    Hugs!

You did a great job, especially with the groupings of people. Hugs, my friend.

I've read many of these convention follow ups and have been entertained by how writers have added in FanStorian's names, and I must say that, you've added more people and blended them in better than anyone. Plus, you didn't forget Michael, Dean, and Phyllis, a few of those there couldn't be a FanStory Party without. Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you know those three who made a difference for me when I started here. Gloria knew Michael more than I did. I was more mentored by Phyllis. Thanks so much, Ric! Hope you win the poker game! Hugs!

Yes, Helene, my dear, I knew all three and they were all good to me. Dean and I stayed in touch even after he left the site. Phyllis helped me a lot and we stayed in touch regularly until I went to Puerto Rico for about a year and a half helping after the hurricane. When I came back, she was gone. Phyllis tried valiantly to convince me to write a regular series with her, but I felt in way over my head. She got someone else to do it, and it was a fun read. Then, they had some differences, and she tried again to get me to take over, but I just wasn't in the same league with her as a writer. But you know, I'm sorry I didn't give it a try. Phyllis helped me a lot in the beginning, as did Selena and Gloria.

Well, if you ever want to give something a try, let me know. Jannypan and Yvonne and I did an Animal column. Phyllis and Tom Bowling did a satirical Dear Abby but it was over my head because of the fine line between humor and plain meanness. I still miss Phyllis. I learned a lot from her. 💖

Yes, Phillis had asked me before, Tom Bowling, and then again afterward. Before I wasn't confident enough: after their series, I didn't want any part of it. LOL.

Well done, Helen! You have written a fabulous chapter for this book, including most of the members that I know, and put them in groups where you thought they would be. Thank you for mentioning me! The ending was so funny, everyone getting their cell phones out madly tapping away! LOL. Well done, you did great. :)) Sandra xxx

Thanks so much, Sandra! Glad you knew these dear people! I knew that some of us panic when it's close to midnight New Jersey time! Lol.

That was great, Helen! I loved your characterization of everyone. You seem to have captured them all perfectly, myself included. I loved the mystery you surrounded yourself with with that magic cloak, and Tom's warning to the group at the end. Perfect.

What a fun romp this has all been with everyone's take on this story.

Good morning, Helen!
Applause!
Applause!
You didn't miss anyone, and you didn't "miss a beat!"
Every angle was covered!
Loved the details.
On to next year's convention, but you have this one "in the bag!"

fondly,
diane

I love this. It was filled with everyone that I know and love. Then you threw in Dean and Phyllis, the only one missing was Nancy E. Davis. This was great. I really enjoyed this. Gretchen

Oh, you know Nancy! I was heartsick when she died. It took forever to hear from her daughter who finally confirmed her passing. Sigh. We miss her! Thanks for the review! Hugs!

This was a gracious and fun read. I really enjoyed the setting and format of it. It made my laugh, and definitely shows that humor need not be raunchy or offensive to be really funny. The accompanying sound track was beautiful, and sent me off to writing a poem I'd post later, perhaps, before Mr Ens reminder...lol.
Well done,
RJ

I think you made sure everyone who is on this site made it to convention. I came just before the festivities, because my daughter and drove up from Chattanooga and was worn out from the long drive. It was good to finally meet you when Jane stepped on you invisibility cloke and revealed you to everyone. I love you take on the convention. There were a lot of prayer and we were all blessed.

Wish I had six stars.
I like your ending better than either Gretchen or Rachelle's (Let that be our secret - smiley face here)
You must know/friend/follow/be followed by everybody!
Great song to post.
Blessings.
