You are so right, we sometimes can add that bad label to innocent souls, so thanking for making justice to this special puppy. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and the contest.

Iza,
Thank you for the great review. I am trying to bring awareness to this breed. I have another poem I am writing about him. It's giving me grief.

You make Kratos sound so cute, sweet, and adorable. I've read that pit bulls make great family dogs and are great around children. However, most people are afraid of them because of their reputation. You did a fantastic job with your first Acrostic poem. Best wishes in the contest.

LJbutterfly,
Thank you for the great review. I appreciate it. Pit bulls are great dogs. I was a little leery when we got him. He was raised correctly. He's a big snuggle bug.

I am sure, I think, but maybe, yes certainly. Have I read a short story about this mischievous dog and an electric fence incident.
If I didn't then forgive me but it was a very similar dog and story's can start to flow together at times.
As a dog dad myself I do agree, it's not the dog, it's the owners.

Tim,
Thank you for the kind review. No it wasn't me that wrote that story and I do understand how everything seems to run together after awhile.

I find acrostic poems are a lot of fun and the subject you've chosen works well with it, a sweet little poem that has me smiling.
Well done & good luck in the contest

Thank you for sharing this acrostic contest entry with us. Yes, pit bulls get a horrible name, and usually because of poor owners. I enjoyed reading and good luck with contest.

Thank you for the kind review. Yes, pit bulls get a bad rep. They are the sweetest dogs if they are raised right.

This is such a relatable, quirky acrostic poem. It certainly shows how playful and loveable this breed is. The line "Always sucking on his woobie"
adds an endearing touch. The imagery conveys an image of a very happy pet. Thank you for sharing. - Terry

Terry,
Thank you for the kind review. He is a big snuggle bug and scared of his own shadow.

An excellent entry for the Acrostic Poetry Contest. A delightful poem about your fur baby. I love the image of him sucking on his woobie. Pit Bulls are so awesome and loving and I hate that they get such a bad rap most of the time. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for the kind review. There needs to be more awareness about the breed and not just the negative stuff. Most of the negative is because the owner sucks!

Our son has had two beautiful pit bulls and I agree that they are the sweetest dogs around. Thank you for highlighting their great qualities. They don't deserve the reputation they've been stuck with.

Hi June,
Thank you for the kind review. It is a shame that so many people blame them and think they're evil. When I worked at Home Depot I was always one of the few employees who would run over to the pit bull and ask permission to pet.
Before we had Kratos I must say I was a little scared of the breed.
Like I say, don't judge them until you've owned one

Oh, first your notes -- you're darn tootin' = "People often blame the wrong end of the leash."
I loved your wee acrostic, and I love that you are promoting a breed that (so unfairly) gets a bad rap! Best of luck in the contest!

Hi Dawn,
Thank you for the kind review. You're right they are unfairly judged and it breaks my heart. At least they aren't banned over here like in England.

I could really picture your dog as I was reading this and how much you adore him as well. It made me think of my own dog as well, I always find it amazing how animals have different personalities just like us. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it.
