This poem could be a prayer or hymn. We will always be in a cycle of asking God for forgiveness. No one is perfect. But He will always forgive you if you ask Him.

Your poem reads like it is written by a sinner saved by grace. It reads as a poem/prayer seeking forgiveness. And of course, if we are faithful in confessing our sins, the Lord is faithful in forgiving them. Good luck in the contest.
