"A party is what we should do" (If this is part of what Ruby said, you don't need all the quotation marks, just at the beginning and end of the dialogue not each line. The same is true in a few more lines.)

A clever piece of work that could be developed into a children's poetry book IF you changed the line: "Some meowgaritas were alright" . Other than that it would be ok for kids.

Thank you so much for your review and kind comments. This is the fourth Patch and Ruby poem so far, and the original script I wrote did not include alcohol. But then someone mentioned the meowgarita and I did think it was cute, how ever not appropriate for kids. I agree. I actually may go back to my original poem.
