Well, it seems things are wrapping up to the conclusion. The bond and romance have been firmly established. The main bad guy is resolved with. So, there nothing left but the marriage proposal and wedding (maybe).

Thank you for the kind review. We still have one more shop to find and a few other things to sort out.

Another excellent chapter, Barbara, I am glad the investigation is getting somewhere with the missing girls and that they are being rescued, I can see how important this is to Sami. The chemistry between her and Noah is really well done once again. I really enjoyed it.

I don't necessarily agree that Sami is what Noah needs. It seems that he will have to spend a lot of time worrying about whether he'll upset her. She's also clingy, and I don't think that's what he needs, given the demands of his career. I shouldn't be passing judgment. True love doesn't always depend on one's best interests. Mateo did a brave job helping corner Chen's men and rescuing the girls. I'm sure you'll be having more about Myra's condition. Great work. I'd never thought about what it would be like to be in protective custody, and you've really given a realistic portrayal of that. Looks like you're close to wrapping things up. judi

We will learn more about Myra. Noah does have a plan. We'll have to wait and see what it is all about. Thank you for the kind review.

I love the way you write about love. And that's righr-Noah should start telling Sami what she means to him. When I knew my wife was in the right spirit, I proposed and am glad I did. keep on writing about declared love, dinner, and saving young women!

I have a feeling this one isn't going to end with a proposal, but I could be wrong. Noah seems to want to take things slowly over time. I'm sorry Myra is so bad off. Do you really think sex trafficking is this widespread that girls can be snatched up so easily?

It is estimated that between 18,000 and 20,000 victims are trafficked into the United States every year. That's just in the US. It's a worldwide problem and has become worse with our open border. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi Barbara, this was another great chapter. Now, let's hope Noah and Sami will get their act together. It's about time. I'm getting a bit impatient. Well let's see what happens next. Ulla xcx

LOL Thank you for the kind review.
Comment from estory
Mateo's involvement here injects some tension into the relationship between Sami and Noah, even though she has deffinitely chosen Noah and keeps slamming the door on him. He doesn't seem to want to give up. So we don't quite know what will happen, if he will make a step in the wrong direction, or not. His willingness to help out in the investigation of Chen seems a bit weird. He is willing to take punches, or at least show that he will take punches, to Sami. But he also seems afraid of stepping ahead of Noah. estory

Mateo and Sami go way back. He knew Myra. Thank you for the kind review.
Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This has been a successful night, Noah is back safe and sound and Sami is naturally over the moon. What surprised me was that there wasn't more interest/detail about Myra's condition? If Sami was being protected, I would, at least, have expected her to inquire. But this is an excellent chapter with good dialogue and pace, quite a celebratory one too. Well done, Barbara! Debbie

Now that's our girl. Don't hold anything back and tell it like it is. She's a handful, and Noah knows it and loves it! I'm glad the night's events went well and that Myra, though seriously ill, was rescued. That's got to make Sami feel better.
