A lovely poem for Patricia. How sweet that she was able to comfort a widow while her surgery was delayed. Her writing and art are a blessing to us on FS. You used nice rhymes and your iambic meter is perfect, and you filled in lots of information on Pat's surgeries. Blessings. Carol

When I first started on FS, Patricia was one of the first to "fan" me and I learned all about her powerful testimony of giving up her baby after she was raped. Her story became one of the ones featured in Unshackled.

Helen, that is beautiful. How do I write something for Pat? I was a bit confused by the instructions Jim gave me. I am not a poet but hey, I can at least try. It should give her a laugh. I can see her in her hospital bed sharing her faith. Esther

I admire Pat's positive attitude. She has even managed to write poetry and words to tell us how she's doing. She would be the one to bring comfort to others. Her family must find her a blessing, as do those she's met at the hospital. I have admired the computer art Pat has used with her poems. You're welcome. Attitude has a lot to do with it. I was amazed she's doing so much walking, but my brother was encouraged to do that after his heart surgery. judi

I thought I was tough, she told me she walked half a mile yesterday. Our prayers are apparently very powerful. :-)
