Ah, inspired by more Mikey memories! It's so sweet when kids grow up with pets and that the pets participate in their imaginative play. Not all kids have that experience. Another fun one - this time in a flash!

This is a cute story. Yes I was surprised it was not about a real sheriff and a criminal, but a child and a dog. I like the ending especially. It's hard to tell a complete story in only 50 words, but you did well on this one. Blessings. Carol

Ye, 50 words blows me away when I first sit down to write something. The story comesout and then I have to whittle it down. Sometimes I don't like the outcome. thanks so much for the review and your thoughts.

I should learn to flip to the contest page and read all the rules...but what the heck....it was only 50 words and it was fun. As long as a few people enjoyed, I am happy.

Knock on wood... I have not had a dog eat up things since I was a kid.... (Yes, I was young once upon a time). I had one dog that would eat everything if left alone...Needless to say, my dad found him a new home.
