Hi,
This is a nicely done poetic biography of Red Skelton. I didn't know much about him. He was before my time. I like that you chose his name and the color of the background as part of the prompt. The only other person I know with a similar name would be Redd Foxx.

I loved watching Red Skelton on television. My parents didn't let me see much, but he was one. His skits and his humor were beyond the norm. He will always remain awesome.

Wow. Bringing back the old memories! I loved Red as a child. He seemed like such a kind man and he was so funny. Great poem. You really incorporated all the things I remember about him. Nice job.

I knew exactly where this was going, mystery writer, and in red, my favorite color. Really any hue especially pinky red. I so miss Red Skelton. I'm remembering when TV was good and worth watching. I'll watch for the contest. Sending you a virtual six and my very best.

I read somewhere that his jokes were clean because during the days leading up to the show's taping he got all the raunchiness out of his system. I do not know how true this is, but this, in and of itself is quite amusing.

My uncle died a few years back, age of 100. On one of my last visits with him he complained about television. He said he wished he could watch Red Skelton agin.
