We are humans and we tend to repeat the past over and over without learning from our failures. Yet, I still see the beauty of this earth that the Lord has given us and will forever be thankful.

After reading this poem, twice, my thoughts are all over the place. I'm trying to organize them to write a sensible review. I guess, well, here it goes. Our present society and probably others too, have decided to rewrite history. Much of our history was horrible, but instead of learning from it we've chose to rewrite. By doing that we will simply repeat it. Your poem is very well written.

Thanks for the excellent review and your thoughts on the poem. What I am trying to get at here is that mankind has failed, and true salvation and hope lies in the grace and compassion of Christ. We have voted for liberals, conservatives, socialists and capitalists, and gotten nowhere in and of ourselves. estory

Sure the world isn't as pristine as it must have been at one time and I'm thankful there is a more promising future awaiting us beyone this life but I still see a lot beauty around me. All this pessimism is depressing and we need to be thankful for all the good that is still worth a word of praise. Man with all his wisdom still can't create a tree or flower without planting a seed.

I understand what you're saying, but God knew exactly where this was going before he ever created man and heI knew many individuals would chose not to follow him, but He decided to give everyone the right to choose. I don't think God makes mistakes and as such I don't believe His creation is a failure.

This isn't entirely pessimistic. There is the hope of the grace and compassion of Christ. The point I am trying to make is that man is flawed and needs saving. Their just isn't any hope in mankind estory
