What fun! I understand what you mean by herding cats. I've ringmastered a lot of anthologies and found keeping my writers on track quite difficult. I love the idea of this anthology. In FS you had a ready-made fleet of writers to pick from. A also like the idea of a mix of f and nf. I'll keep an eye out for more posts concerning this one.

First of all, congratulations to all of you! Getting published is the bomb! That's an expression that means it is great. I've known the feeling myself.
The print size is easy on the eyes. I am happy for all of you on fanstory who have worked hard and shown promise in the syndicated sector.
Merry Christmas to all and all a good night!

Comment from Gloria ....
That's great news Terry. Some fine authors indeed included in the anthology. I just wanted to say congrats to you, and everyone who participated in the project because there is a lot involved.
I expect I'm not the first person to let you know you spelled Nietzsche wrong. I always have trouble with that word because it's unusual. Americans pronounce it as nitch, and we, raised on the Queen's English, pronounce it as neesh. That kind of thing can really interfere with a person's rhyme pattern.
That said, I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Oprah's book club. If anyone can dispatch Quixote's windmills I reckon it is your band of Merry Christmas writers.
Wishing you all the best with sales irrespective of all the great fun you had compiling your collection.
Much enjoyed. :)

Congratulations to you all. It's a very satisfying feeling, and I hope it sells well. That's good too that it is in good time for the Christmas gift list, and some will want to get in early.
Edit: "nitch" should be "niche"

As a fortunate human who had the privilege of pre-reading this anthology I can vouch for the excellence therein.
Your selection of authors is the recipe for success!
I enjoyed every story and have it on good authority my copy will be arriving on Friday.
Congratulations to all of you!

Well, now THIS was certainly a good reason to come out of retiring from FS to promote! I'm going to do my editor thing a bit here, though:
!.) NICHE, not "nitch" - though the way you spelled it IS how it's pronounced
2) I know this is a Don Quixote reference, but I don't understand its meaning:
Additionally, we will use our limited resources to swing our swords at the windmills of dreams. We invite you to join us on the journey.
3.) This sentence is missing a word. I capitalized it and put it in parentheses to make it stand out for you:
We are pleased to announce (THAT) this book, born on FanStory, is now available to the world.
Also, in that sentence, I think "borne" is better than "born" since FS "carried it along" as opposed to "gave birth" to it.
4.) No "w" needed on this version of "lo":
It became an effort to find great stories, and **low** and behold, a nitch revealed itself
5.) In this sentence:
All of the authors have been a long-time member of FanStory.
you need to delete the "a" and put an "s" on the end of "member." To be grammatically correct, it needs to read like this: All of the authors have been long-time members of FanStory.
6.) Finally (yes, there IS an end to this misery!) I think the word "IS" works better than "MEANT" in this sentence and conveys your point more effectively:
my understanding of the key to success in business meant to surround myself with...

This sounds very exciting. The overall idea is fun and should generate a lot of interest durng the holidays. I love the idea of owning a book of Christmas short stories that could possibly be read aloud and shared during family time while the Christmas tree lights sparkle. Good luck with it.
