I'm going to try this again...I hit the control button and whoosh, my review was gone. I always enjoy your stories about growing up in the country. I did too, but it was many years after the war. That made a huge difference on our country I would think.
There's three spots I saw with words wrong, but of course I lost them as well. Hopefully someone else will notice and point them out again. Sorry!

A great read, telling of childhood activity in a realistic tone and conveying a real sense of the child's sense of wonder when having new experiences against a backdrop of the ending of World War 11. I presume this forms part of a book?
