I doubt you would find a teenager nowadays that will agree with you,Beth. My grandchildren always have their noses buried in the phone or IPad. I think its way too much but it's the way things have changed. I liked the outdoors.

Thank you Carol, It is really the kind of poem a kid would like but time is running out and it was all I could come up with. I still don't like cell phones but my kids an grandchildren can't imagine life without them.

A poem appropriate for middle school and some older people (raises hand slightly). It's an awful addictive habit and I am so glad I didn't have it when I was a kid. This is a good entry for the Poem for a Child contest. Good luck.

A poem appropriate for middle school and some older people (raises hand slightly). It's an awful addictive habit and I am so glad I didn't have it when I was a kid. This is a good entry for the Poem for a Child contest. Good luck.

Thank you Marilyn. Yes, adults have this problem as well. I think kids ten to get cell phone when they are too young but since pay phone aren't around any more I guess young people need them for safety reasons.
