I always look forward to your birthday poems because they are creatively packed full of information about fellow FanStorians that we might never know from reading their posts. One example for Teri is her grand-chicken. I had to enlarge my screen to make sure I read that right. Lol.
Even though Teri struggles with a disorder, her life sounds full of love and joy.
To Teri: I hope you have a very enjoyable day as God continues to grants you the desires of your heart. I wish you peace, strength and the knowledge that you are loved here on FanStory.

Hi Monica, did you have trouble with the flow because of changing back and forth from the eight syllables to the fourteen syllables, which is what
Merry~go~Rhymes are about?
I do have to admit, in order to get the info in there and make it rhyme and do it to make sense and with meter is so extremely difficult, but most people think that it flows beautifully. I, myself tho felt a little stumble on a couple parts that were almost impossible to fit at all. Like about Jonathon, wife and son was a lot for a short line, but I can't spread it out further or the poem gets too long.
But I appreciate knowing where you had the most difficult so I can see if it is possible to work on it.

I understand how hard it is with certain types of poems. For example, I can't write a sonnet to save my life (LOL).
The parts I had trouble with (and again it may just be me) were the 2nd stanza, as well as the lines that begins with "When she's cleaning...", "She's worked...", and the phrase "grand - chicken". I do have a suggestion on that last one, though. I was thinking maybe "grand - chick" instead. Just a thought, and my opinion. It is a really good poem, though, all in all.

Thanks Sweetie, yes first you have to pronunciate every single syllable with my poetry. And you need to pause where the commas are when reading my longer lines. When you do that, it flows like butter.
However the MGR can sometimes be hard to go from the eight syllable to fourteen back and forth if you aren't used to it.
Grand chick would not work because it doesn't have the correct meter and syllable count. I would love to hear if you read them again the way I told you if it would make a difference. I owe you for being so honest, as I love the feedback and the chance to explain how it should be read.

Because my lupus and Teri's MS are sister diseases, some days are hard to keep going and yet we have to keep trying or get too far behind. Staying up all night like a teen for a test the next day doesn't work anymore. So need to start being a little more careful with my health and sleep for now on. Thanks again Roy.
