This sad and alarming poem definitely speaks for itself. One of my grandsons was a police officer in a port city and human trafficking was a problem there.
A sad commentary on the life of runaway children.

Yes, this poem speaks for itself and is real for many young girls and boys. Thank you for highlighting this problem. As country, well as a world, we need to figure out a way to solve this problem. I pray for these young people daily.

Your poem certainly does speak volumes. I never wanted to take advantage of a girl in tht way. In fact, the opposite. I prayed for a good woman to be my wife, and God gifted me with one for 31 years. My heart goes out to any woman caught in that vicious web.

You have very well captured the horrors faced by young runaways. Sad that it is "too late for some who had no clue". I sincerely believe that the offenders should be given stiffer punishments--- let them rot in prison without parole.

Although your post is fictional. It is a sad fact that some of our sons and daughters are real victims of human trafficking scum who profit from the misery they impose upon innocent children. Your post did a fine job of describing some of the misery these defenseless victims must endure everyday. Thank you for composing and posting this important work.

This is a very sentimental poem about someone lost in life.
I have heard, that people can get lured to do things and can't get out of it.
