Hi, Mary I hope you are well
I guess you are a mass murderer of birds. My husband once. found an injured bird and he put it in the trashcan and I said no you're not going to leave that bird in the trashcan. It's still alive so he took it out of the trashcan and a few minutes later, it flew off. So we knew he at least had a chance But it had a lot of blood on its wings. So, it probably did not survive
Yeah, what happened to you happened to my brother one time my sister had to go somewhere and he was housesitting and there was a bird there a small... He drank out of a glass and he forgot to put the glass in the sink and when he came back the next day, the dead bird was floating in his glass.
I enjoyed reading your story
Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your excellent review. I guess even if not a water bird and that they are attracted to water in any container.

Nicely done! This was so enjoyable. I found myself chuckling at the unexpected twists, even while feeling a pang of sympathy for your predicament! The way you handled the unfortunate situation with such care and thoughtfulness is both touching and relatable.

If you say so is there anyone that will doubt, but why... would birds fly into an uncovered container and not escape. And yes, I can see why you wouldn't want to feed cats.

I added a note, I think they went in for water but escaping the smooth sides made it impossible so they drowned.
Thank you
Mary
