nice choka about the life cycle of a tree. We seldom think about trees as living creatures. I have written a number of poems about trees including one where the trees turn against humanity green trees don't make it.

This is a lovely Choka poem done in correct format. I love the first line and then how the rest of the poem tells about the life of the tree and ends with its epitaph written in the ashes. Nicely done.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem of a life cycle of a tree. One of my favorite children's books is 'The Giving Tree' by Shel Silverstein. When I'd read it to my class, I would always also share a few tears. I would warn the kids first. LOL Many of them joined me with tears. It's a beautiful story.

This is my first time reading a choka poem I had to Google what that meant. It's very well written I really enjoyed it. It shows that the life of a tree gives us something special throughout its journey through life. Thanks for sharing

This is just so sad. When I was little, I used to cry when I heard chainsaws. I knew trees were being destroyed. I love trees. Beautifully written in a unique way. Through the eyes of the tree. Gretchen

This is an interesting poem presenting the life of tree's leaves as seasons come and go. It was effective and descriptive writing and I enjoyed reading this. The image matches well.

Best wishes

Alex

This poem, Lifecycle of a Tree, presented in couplets, follows the self-narrating tree through life and the afterlife as it sees the service it has given until finally returning to dust.

I think there people that still fell trees don't realise that there people who believe that trees have a soul which is destroyed when they are chopped down, scripture says that trees clap their hands in praise to God, but trees produce oxygen and consume carbon dioxide, turning it into oxygen, well done Santha, well done, blessings Roy

and even then if properly disposed the ashes remaining will bear new growth, perhaps not from that which was but something new to bud, and sprout and reach for the sky with help.
