I loved the humour and candour written into this delightful little non-fiction... and I am old enough and wise enough to leave some comments stay right where they should be... in the story of it!
All the very best in the contest Jessica.
I always get a little nervous when the rules say 'between'... does that mean 99-101 word count? But regardless of what the committee needs to call this a winner, I'll reward it accordingly.

" telling the neighbor we had twelve dogs" I'm guessing she didn't like the neighbors and either wanted them to move or not bother coming over to visit.
"does this dress make Mommy's butt look big?" I sincerely hope so. That's what real guys love! :-))
Is that your adorable daughter in that pic? She's almost as cute as her mom--almost. And what's that brownish coloration at the top of her forehead, close to her hair line? Or am I seeing stuff?

The dangers of getting what you asked for-LOL! Children have no filter when they're very young, they call them as they see them. She was obeying your request. I enjoyed this little interlude very much, gave me a chuckle. And the picture is adorable. Great job!

Lol well, you certainly trained her well! Our grandson has been brutally honest since he was three. He has learned, however, to just be quiet if he can't find anything nice to say...great entry for the contest.
