An excellent entry for the Kiddies Motivational Poem writing prompt. I had never heard of this woman before, which is odd considering I have sang her songs many times. An interesting lesson about a lady with seemingly boundless talent. Thank you for sharing.

I guess I know a lot about her as she is buried in my hometown. I was once going to write a historical tale about her crossing paths with others of tht time. If God allows it, maybe one day.

You documented her life very well. She is quite remarkable. It sounds like her hearing.(from God) was God's way of compensating her for her lack of sight. Beethoven was blind. From birth, I think

It may not appeal to kids, but i once did as puppet play about her so I felt I'd try it.
