Very good chapter, Barb. The interchange between Noah and Sami is bringing about an interesting situation. It looks like Sami is going to need watching over.

Her personality is going to cause trouble, especially for Noah. Thank you for the kind review and support.

I guess Sami was suspecting that she was being monitored so she only told Jasper that she was going to the grocery store. It's good that Noah could get her before she was sold to the bad guys. Why doesn't she see that he's her hero? I guess she needs to learn more while at the safe house.

It helps to review who the characters are in this story. I have to keep checking so I know who they are talking about. I know there are good guys and bad guys in this story. And I'm hoping nothing will happen to the Girl Scout girls.

Wow, this really is fast paced with Noah in charge, determined that Sami isn't going to come to any more harm. She's not delighted though is she and doesn't seem to appreciate how much she's getting in the way and potentially jeopardising things for the investigation and, of course, Myra. An excellent chapter. Thanks for sharing, Barbara. Take care Debbie

This is another excellent chapter. I'm getting to know the characters. They are well-developed, as always. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Hello Barbara,
this was pretty exciting. Sami seems to have a penchant for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She might want to wise up and let law enforcement do their job. The whole subject of abducting children for the sex trade is so distressing, and as humans, we don't want to believe it's happening, but unfortunately it is, and the U S is the biggest market for these children. With all the technology available, I don't see why we can't track down these bastards and castrate them. If there are further offenses, a death penalty would be mandatory within thirty days of arrest, no appeals or wasting the tax payers money with feeding them in jail. It might seem harsh, but we've got to stop what's going on in America right now. The country is on the verge of collapse. Thanks for sharing.
Have a blessed day.

I agree with you and Houston, Texas where this story is supposedly taking place it one of the main problems. Sami won't have a choice be to stay out of the investigation at the safe house, but she can still cause problems for Noah. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

This chapter is high in tension and action, so it makes it easy for the reader to choose the side of the "goodies". Perhaps some conflict could be useful to make sure it will pan out long enough. kay

Phew...
Like a whirlwind. This is action packed and fast paced. I'm enjoying it, other than the subject matter of human trafficking which is despicable.
Let's see what happens next with Sami and Trey, aka Noah.
Nicely crafted.

Being undercover for Sami and Noah is playing at a pretty dangerous games, there's so little slack to play in this dance. This is much more frenetic post this time around, the episode is well written, and a great work, well done, blessings Roy

It is tough to keep up with two novels. Its like switching gears every couple of days. I'm really enjoying reading this. Something happened to my messages and I lost a lot of writing last week. But I did enjoy this. Very different than Seth and Emma. Gretchen
