I'm left wondering if the last line woul be counted differently as the word flows Is individually spaced out possibly adding individual syllables? Love the 5-7-5 passion to this though. Thanks for Sharing your Poetry

From the heart and through the pen a writer's blood flows, which is a great way to write about passion in the context of a 5-7-5 poem.
This tells the story of lovelorn passion and the writer's chance to chase the blues away by writing a poem to announce the love felt for another.

It's an interesting point that writers will scribe things with, as it were, with their own blood, but of course it's a metaphor not literal, this is an excellent post, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

What stunning imagery! This is indeed how it feels sometimes when we pour out the very essence of ourselves into our writing - if we are really brave enough to dig deep and not self-edit. Thanks for the share and good luck for the contest.

What flows from the heart onto the paper are not just words, but the heart and soul of the writer. As unique as the DNA in the blood. Fueled by passion, we bleed profusely and a poem is born.

This 5-7-5, Unspoken Passion, has the proper formatting and leads that feeling through eyes and brain to the lips that finally speak the words aloud.

Yes good writing is authentic and just bursts out from a good writer. I agree. I enjoyed reviewing this well written poem and presentation. I also enjoyed that Hemingway quote. Best wishes!
