This is a very well written and authentic poem. As I read the descriptions and imagery, I felt I was reading a tribute to unconditional love. That is the only real form of love, in my opinion. Well done!
Best wishes,
Alex

I have to apologize for typos that sometimes creep into my reviews and replies. The last three fingers of my left hand are a bit numb.

This is a fabulous poem, I especially love the rhythm and how this strengthens the power of the rhyme. The changes in rhythm and tempo are really effective but the whole poem flows beautifully as well - I felt like I was flowing through the poem which drew me onwards irresistibly . Great use of language - simple like a conversation but evocative at the same time. Lots of contrast in the imagery like slabs butting up together which is gorgeous. Really excellent. Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes

The plan is to keep going because there is something magnificent just around the corner. What a wonderfully written poem and I love the picture. I wish I had a six for you.
Have a great day, and God bless.

This is an honest, raw and clever poem about a rather toxic relationship that we are sometimes drawn to as they are exciting and make us feel alive, but in the end they never last. A skilful poem and I was entertained by this talented post, love Dolly x

Such a beautiful poem dripping with emotion. I felt your heartbreak through your words, and can also see how the person you describe could struggle to put down roots. I hope this is fiction, and if not, sending you thoughts of healing and moving forward

The title of your post really caught my eye as a nickname of mine was little crow. Nice Flowing through out the poem and Sorry things didn't work out if this is about someone you know. Thank you for Sharing your Thoughts and Poetry style.

Wow! Congratulations on creating a character that is both frightening and totally desirable at the same time. Your poetic voice is very intriguing. It is rap like in its rhythm; the pacing is almost hypnotic. I loved it. I loved this poem.

I love any poem that conveys the complexities of loving someone for all that they are, as this one does. A beautiful piece of work that really captures the rumination that comes after loss - all the good things feeling just as nostalgic as the bad when you are missing them. Amazing poem.

I enjoyed your poetry. I have not seen you before.
This was clever and joyful, acerbic, and even lonely.
You got an awful lot into your poem. Have a grand week. Good work here. Karen
