The rhyme scheme here is interesting. You write with kindness and compassion for the difficulties we face, with the reminder that we can pray in each circumstance. I would be glad to add Malachi to your list- great grandson age three with Leukemia with a bone marrow transplant in the near future.

Okay! I will add him to this list. I was keeping to spouses but you're right. Our FS friends care for all our loved ones. Thanks for reviewing, Verna! Hugs!

Thank you corraling all our prayer needs and thanksgivings into one spot. I'm marking this so I have them handy. My prayer list grows by the day.
Our prayers are strong though and our God is faithful. I'm so full of praise for Teri's remission, and for Debi Pick Marquette's improvement as her treatments are helping push back the lupus. I try to send little prayers to those I'm close to and scriptures if they are Christians. If not, I just let them know by pm that I care and praying for them.
To those in physical therapy, I root you on! I did it for a year, 5 days a week, and stretched and iced every day regardless. Recovering from surgery/injury/stroke/illness is harder than you can imagine. I know now. PT Prayers for Lisa, Judi, Jesse, and Kathy Shott. It's hard work and it's every day.
If I may--
"Lord, we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank you for your care, your love and healing. Send your angels to each one mentioned above, all so precious in your sight. Draw close to them all, heal and strengthen them, I ask in Jesus' name, Amen."
Scriptures from Psalm 30:1-2
I will exalt you, Lord, for You lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. Lord my God, I called to You for help, and You healed me.

A well-chosen verse form to convey a message of support to those who are suffering through disease, surgery and hospital care. My very best wishes to all mentioned in your thoughtful notes. Thanks for sharing, Helen. Debbie

Thank you so much, Debbie! Glad that you've recovered from that fall over Christmas. Here's to a healthier New Year!

You've used this form skillfully to convey not just thoughts, but also feelings drawn up by the words. From there the process creates empathy. A timely reminder that we all suffer from ailments of one sort or another, but we're not alone.

Yes, it's shocking how many of us are struggling on this site but we are all older so I guess it's no surprise to most. Thanks so much, June. Hugs!

I'm always sorry to hear of the difficulties our FanStory folks are having with health issues; as we age, I guess we should expect it. Sad reality.
Thank you for sharing this sobering poem and for giving us an update on our members.

It's 2024 and we wouldn't have imagined that people would be back in the hospital with Covid four years later! Thanks so much for reviewing, Pam.

LOL, we wouldn't have imagined that Donald Trump would be the Republican nominee and possibly the president again four years later. But here we are.

Oh gosh,
I do not think I should be on the list of the many that are in need of prayers.
My new knee really does not qualify me to be part of the list. I am doing well ... even with the pain and of course daily PT...
I know all the wonderful Fan Story writers listed and I send them positive energy that they recover soon.
Your writing is excellent!!

Thank you for this plea for the health of our fellow Fanstorians. It is somewhat scary to see how many people are dealing with health issues. Perhaps our prayers will help them continue to champion their journey.
And I have another new poetic form to add to my collection of things I will try 'someday.'

Thank you so much, Patty. If you join Shelley's club, I'm sure you'd learn so many more forms. Hugs!

Thank you, Helen for that.
I will keep this and continue with a prayer for all.

It's that my poor brain can keep track of so much so I'm asking others to join me in praying. Thanks so much, John! Hugs!

Helen, I always love these posts about other FanStorians and how they are doing. If you don't share with us, it's impossible to keep up ~ especially since I may not review all of them. Great job with the Wordflair form!!

Well, I post because I need others to join with me in prayer. I don't know everyone and I hope others would be encouraged to write about other people we don't know.
Thanks so much, Melissa!
Hugs!

An interesting form executed adroitly and for a very good cause. Goodness! I had no idea what a load of old crocks we have become. I can only echo your sentiments regarding happy outcomes all round.
I must hold issue with 'it' in L3. Surely, it should be they. Perhaps the best way of preserving the rhyme would be to substitute a noun eg Or last as long as it (God?) (time?) pleases

Thank you for catching the noun-pronoun mismatch, Tony! Appreciate you and your comment about us "old crocks" made me smile. Hugs!
