The gift of having a mother that cares and loves you is something truly special. It's also something you can't describe nearly describe in words, so I was surprised that you managed to compose all your feelings in such an elegant piece of poetry. A mother fights with blood, sweat and tears to see their child in smiles and grins. Good luck :))

Tear? Tears. "To make me free." Just a suggestion. It is always a good thing to remember your parents; they gave you a good upbringing and the best way we can honor our ancestors is to write their story. Well done. PS: I generally light a candle.

Awe, thanks so much my sweet Kay. I guess I wasn't willing to use any near rhymes by using tears and here. And that was bothering me as I knew it should be tears and not tear. So I changed it back to tears again how I had it in the first place and used a phrase that showed my mom had to face her fears, as I was only two pounds and born in Oct and she was due at Christmas.
