Hello Gretchen,
I'm delighted that you and your husband have made an effort to enjoy a Hallmark Christmas this year. We seem to get out of life what we put into it. I've eaten at a few real Italian restaurants in my life, and I absolutely love the cuisine. The smell upon entering the establishment is enough to prime my appetite, and you're right, if you can eat everything served to you in one sitting, it's almost a miracle. Thanks so much for sharing.

Actually, my son is a businessman and when we were out to eat, he saw friends who were having medical bill trouble dining at the same expensive restaurant and he bought their meal. There must be Santa's everywhere. You might want to quit spelling Santa's last name like the movie name. You'll want to correct: After last night night's dinner. I understand about eating the real Italian food as compared to what American's think is Italian food.
