I've been busy cooking all day. I'm finished, and just sat down to take a break and read.

I really enjoyed this Thanksgiving birthday greeting. I'm glad you highlighted Janet. I'm not as familiar with her work as I am with some writers. We have three things in common. I'm from Pennsylvania and clearly remember the 911 Somerset County crash. We both played piano at church, and both started writing AFTER retirement. I have to check out her portfolio.

To Janet I say, Happy Birthday, Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you have a blessed holiday season with your loved ones.

I am honored and humbled by your beautiful poem Debi. There were so many unsung heroes to remember that day and the weeks that followed. Let us never forget the casualties in NYC and Somerset Co Pennsylvania whose families and friend's lives were altered forever.
You do have a gift celebrating birthdays. Something we all have in common. Birthdays and belly buttons lest we forget. Haha

Oh Janet, I am so pleased you liked it. I do want to tell you on the second like I think I will take the slash out, because if you read it nine eleven it will completely screw up the meter and not come out smooth at the end. And I am so careful where every word gets in the right place in order for that to happen. So if you got caught up there that is why. Please be completely honest because I can change it for you if you'd like. Otherwise, I thought you'd get a kick out of the tease that everyone took off for your birthday, and I do wish you the best one ever. God Bless my friend, and have a wonderful birthday!

I did like the idea that everyone gets the day off for MY birthday but you are the only one to make that connection. Unfortunately, my one grandson is a police officer so he does have to work so our big turkey celebration is tomorrow. But even that is a win/win for me. My birthday celebration will last two days this year. Haha
You are so clever Debi and this was just a delightful birthday poem. Good change on 9-1-1 as it does flow better. You are the best my friend. Have a great great day.

Oops forgot to say two more things; don't forget to read all the lovely reviews to get all your birthday wishes from people. The cool thing about these poems are that the ones who don't know you will start to follow you. People are curious to know more about these birthday recipients.
