Another lovely poem from your talented hand. Again, it's so great to have you back on this site. You've been dearly missed. I hope all is well.
Blessings abundant, and my best wishes for the no rules poetry contest.

I am SOOOO glad to be back! I worked through health issues and am feeling better than ever. My Father in law passed away. My hubby had way too many ER visits..blah, blah, blah...We had our first grandbaby and I have been writing devotions for awhile. I let the Lord lead me in His time and I am thrilled to be back here!
Hope that made sense. Just busy-ness and stuff!
Thanks for being so sweet. You have been dearly missed, as well!!

I was drawn to read this because of the photograph (and some writers here don't believe the photo is important!). I have photographed countless sunrises in Florida and near as many sunsets when I lived in New England.
Twice a day we are blessed to be enveloped in this moment and are left with the "sweet remembering" - until we see again roughly 12 hours later.
Your words have captured the moment, and your picture draws the reader in.
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you, Pam! Yeah, I dont get the "no picture" thing all the time. If its a somber poem or a political one, maybe? God's art deserved to be shown off, is how I feel, lol. You live in Florida! Te older I get, the more I crave to live semi-near the ocean, but we have gorgeous mountains here that I would miss.
Thanks for your note and friendly review!

Beauty is the greatest gift God has given us, and you have certainly been blessed. You have written a nice poem about this, I enjoyed reading it very much, and found it flowed well. kay

Patricia, you are so appreciated for your reviews. I feel I have already won just by being able to get back on Fanstory with all we've had going on this year. But...God is good! I am chomping at the bit to find time to read some of your work soon!

Your beautiful verse about sunset is a joy to read! Soothing and meditative in its tone, it is, indeed like a painting reflecting its golden colours and stunning display. I like the subtle alliteration you've selected and the repetition which add to make this a very memorable portrait. Well done and good luck, Tina! Debbie

What a surprise, so great to see your happy-smiley face Tina... so good to see you back on site.
And by the looks and read of things, you've come back swinging.
My favorite time to connect to nature and the orchestrator of that truly amazing view we call a 'sunset'. It's my perfect time to live in gratitude of another day passed.
You painted your very own amazing vision with the tastiness of a rhymed refrain with a healthy sprinkling of alliteration all contained within the beauty of your inspiring word choice
'enveloping entranced hearts
performing a play of enamoured art'
Yes, I too gazed, amazed... how could we all not?
Loved your last verse to round off this stunning poem... and your notes were a bonus hit of inspiration.
Welcome home dear friend!
Wishing you all the very best in this contest Tina... it's a beautiful entry.
With our thoughts we create...
the truth of connection.
Kindest regards,
James.

I love a good sunset. It really is amazing that we can see the wonders of our world, and nature always puts on a spectacular show. I really enjoyed reading your piece.

I particularly enjoyed the tight structure you used when conveying your sentiments about a gorgeous sunset. The stanza structure gave greater focus to the vocabulary choices you were including and the visual image was also most engaging. Well done and good luck for the contest!
