You always tell me something I didn't know about some of favorite people. I love Verna's poems. They are always perfect and with wonderful messages. I didn't know her father was a minister. She walks the straight and narrow, not like the sterotypical preacher's kid, whos always in trouble. Your poem is lovely and I like all the music you share.

I am looking forward to doing yours. It has been a busy month so far. One very day and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. Since you are so special, and somehow I was fortunate to find out positive things of interest about you, I may do my favorite Merry~go~Rhyme for yours. I just did one on November 2nd for pome lover, and she loved it. Thanks again, Ann.

Hi Laura, I will tell you that if you have an iPad, then they do not make it easy to embed a code (a YouTube video code) Apple doesn't recognize it, so I have to use a computer to do it. However, I have two iPads that I love, but still have a computer that I used to embed the code. So I would help you if you let me know which system you are working with. Just let me know, ok?

Barb, you always make me feel so good about these poems, and the fact that you take the time to say a personal happy birthday warms my heart. Thank you for that. It is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Most poems and posts will come and go and never be remembered, but I know these will forever be in someone's heart. That means a lot to me. You will absolutely love Verna, since we all have the same faith instilled in us.

This is one of the people who has most impressed me here. Your poem is as usual a lovely tetrameter abab framework, with a very accomplished seven line monorhyme, wishing Verna a great birthday. You mention her writing achievements, including her new compilation, which should interest many of us.
Looks like your compendium of singers all sing the same solos as me! I know I sang four of them this year in church. Lovely choice - and I am not surprised if these are Verna's favorites too.
She loves God AND chocolate! A woman after my own heart.
