Barbara, This is a great chapter you have penned. So much has happened in this chapter. I just hope little Molly will be o.k. You used great descriptive words. The picture you used looks like a very dangerous animal. I hope it is not what hurt little Molly! Thanks for sharing. love and blessings, Teri

Nice chapter, Barb. You have set up the possibility of a prowler at Emma's place. We have a good idea who this may be. Hopefully, Molly will be okay.

Close call for Molly, and it was very sweet how Ace wanted to stay with her at the vet's. If it isn't one thing, it's another pushing Emma and Seth even closer together. One of these days they'll have to admit they are more than just friends. I just wonder what the precipitating moment will be. You're keeping me on edge here, Barbara. - Jim

I had a lump in my throat about Molly and Ace. I hope the little furball makes it. Everyone is seeing the attraction between Seth and Emma, but they are still denying it. But the best relationships start as friendships. Great chapter. Gretchen

I agree the best relationships are strong friendships. It takes time to develop that. Thank you for the kind review.

Now we have to worry about Molly and figure out who was trying to get. Putting new locks on was a good idea. I wish she'd wise up and move in with Seth.

Hmm, this chapter is well written, and everything is step with your proven formula.

notes:

Seth shook his head. "But not sure if [it] was a coyote, wild dog, or mixed."

This chapter made my eyes water a bit dealing with the coyote attack on Molly. I have three dogs and I would be devastated should something like that happen to one of them.

Other than that, everything seems status quo between Seth and her, and her immaturity.

Thank you for posting...
Cheers,
John

It's another great c he apter, Barbara. I'm so sorry about the dogs and the vicious attack on Molly. All I can hope for is that she will be okay. Ace really saves her life. Hugs, Ulla xx

Emma needs to get serious about finding a job in keeping with her college background. Then she won't have those financial worries. I hope little Molly makes it. I love how Ace wants to stay with her. I have a feeling Molly will recover. It's like Seth hovering over Emma. Seth needs to spend his time trying to find out who's been all these things to Emma. Once that's solved, maybe she can get on with her life and start her career. She needs to mature a bit before she thinks of marriage. You have certainly come up with a variety of problems for Emma--and Seth--to deal with. Very creative. judi

You're welcome. I'll be curious to see what Emma has in mind. She certainly seems interested in developing reading skills and helping young people with their problems. judi

All of that will play into what she does accept and where she's taking it.
