I was so worried something was going to happen at the gas pump. Happily, it wasn't a ruse to get her out there. I hope Mr. Starling figures again in the story.

Miranda is still on the trail and trying to elicit Mitch's support. We see a very kind side to Miranda here as she helps the elderly gentleman to manage the fuel pump. But her mind is working overtime and she's determined to solve the mystery of Dougie's disappearance. Small edit - This guy must have never pumped ...(his) credit card in.
