This poem is cute and fun to read. I enjoyed it and couldn't be believe that this is very possible. I do understand how conniving cats can be. I do own two of them. LOL

Hi Barb, I thank you so much for this kind review and comments for my Patch and Ruby poem.
After Kenzie said they were moving and Ruby was acting strange, I needed to have a little laugh. I appreciate your very kind comments for it and for having a little fun with me.
Thank you again, my dear friend.

Ha!!! Great last closing line. Too funny.
I thought this prt was so very cute:
Patch wears the pants in Helen's house, but Ruby wears a dress
You are a talent, my friend. A funny one at that.

I love it, joining together of two cats, sharing a loving friendship between them. The theme of this effort, states enough for me, finding this as a fantasy ride to my brain. I do yield one suggestion: perhaps, foxes rather than fox, in my given opinion.

Hi TPAC, I thank you so much for this kind review and comments for my Patch and Ruby poem.
After Kenzie said they were moving and Ruby was acting strange, I needed to have a little laugh. I appreciate your very kind comments for it and for having a little fun with me. And I struggled with that line throughout my poem. And since I knew fixes would screw up my rhyme pattern, I wrote each was a sly Fox.
Thank you again, my dear friend.

I enjoyed your funny story of Patch and Ruby's Plan. You are as good as Helen. You both bring your pets' conversations to life. Your conversations are so funny and belittle. You give them great characters. Do they wear clothes ? Ellie, my cat, wouldn't like that. Moving is hard for everyone.

Thank you again, my dear friend.

Debi, I love the pictures of the cats. And yes, as Cat Daddy, I did have to move cats a couple of times. Cats do not like change. Moving is a big change, but within a very short period of time, Cats do have fun exploring the new surroundings. Very well done. Terry.

Aha, I thought this would get your attention, Mr Cat Daddy. I still love your story about you not wanting anything to do with cats and then Zoe said....Ooops. Stay on task, Debi! And as much as I am not a cat lover, the idea of a cat is sounding better all the time for me, especially since I never plan on moving! Lol.. Thanks for the fun comments and great review, my awesome friend.

Great photo of the two cats. I have to find the story of Patch's move.
A delightful, sweet and clever read.
I have no doubt that cats can scheme and plot as over the years my cats have controlled my household!
Best wishes,
Mary

Oh Mary there are a few of them and they are so fun to read. I truly get into them and I am not even a cat person. I might rethink that tho because I want a pet so bad and don't feel like putting a dog out in the winter. Thanks for the awesome comments, Mary and please do look for Helen's posts. You will not be disappointed. I know there are at least two, if not three.

This is so cute and clever. Plus I love the two kitties in the photos. My own striped ginger boy has to share habitation with a pug x spaniel and they give us lots of laughs as they hide, sneak up and chase each other through the house and garden. Julie xx

Awe, Julie, thank you so very much for your fun comments for this silly poem. Helen's posts have been such a hoot about Patch, so when Kenzie decided to move she told me that Ruby was acting strange about it, I had to have some fun with it. Weird, but after a while, it starts to feel real. LOL
Thanks again Julie, and I left another PM for you too.

Yes, I completely understand that... Writing seems to have a life of it own..
I did enter a committee vote poem... Did you see it?

This was good little chat about Ruby and Patch. Our animals do seem to sense when something is afoot.
I hope it was your creative muse and not fact that Kenzie's ring ended up in the litter box. A fun read Debie. Cheers

Now that is so, so cute my friend, it's amazing how writers can interweave stories, and when Helen writes about people and their personal lives, she writes as if one is already there, this is a grand poem Debi, well done dear girl, blessings Roy
