Most amusing and entertaining. Your dialogue is perfect for the animals and brings to mind an hilarious picture of this meeting. Thank you for making me laugh.

This is a fun response to the prompt. Darcy was concerned about her place in the family with additional members joining. She opened her heart and voted to let the family grow. Love it!
The dialogue is fun, especially Darcy's speech. Ain't it cute?

She is adorable all around. If she could talk, I think I captured her personality.
Thanks for reading.

Is there room for you in the bed? LOL! I loved this story, Darcy certainly made his point, and was soon persuaded to allow his cousins to come live with them. So long as you keep your promise and let him remain sleeping at the bottom of your bed! How do you do that? When we have our son's dog over for a sleep over, she ends up between me and my hubby, lengthways, so her face is snuggled up to me, and her rear end is in Grahams face!! So funny! I enjoyed this story, I often what is going on in there heads. :)) Sandra xx

She?s a smaller dog, so she fits perfectly. Other dogs current and past, we ran into your same problem. That?s what happens when we spoil them, right?
Thanks, Sandra. Your reviews are always positive and uplifting.
Cheers. John

This is a great entry for Animal Crackers. It would be nice if all negotiations ended this way. I think I want Lola's life.LOL. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Crazy but cute. Sometimes we can get so attached to our pets that they seemed to know what we are saying. I have had my share and become very fond of them. Thanks for sharing.

Hahaha, I love it. So now you got four dogs am I right? It's a great entry for the animal crackers.I dare say it's a family meeting.
Now, I haven't forgotten about the lasagne. I'm now ready to send it. I just wondered if I can publish it on here dedicated to you and free to use? Please let me know. Ulla:)))

Unfortunately, we put Lola to rest last September. She had a good 17 year run!
Thank you for reading and sharing, Ulla.
You can PM recipe if you want or email to-

Thanks so much. I hope the heat is not so oppressive!

Oh I'm so sorry about Lola. But 17 years was a good run.. it's always sad, however.
I will PM the recipe to you a bit later. Ulla:)))

I enjoyed how you wrote this story from your dog's perspective. I've always wondered how they would take the addition of another dog or two. Would they feel hurt, as if they were not good enough, or that you didn't devote all your love and attention to them? It was a very thought-provoking post hidden amongst the humor.

I love this, "if animals could talk, what would they say" we have a Moodle dog called unimaginatively "Lucky" and look after my daughter's juvenile female Rottweiler Chinta, who's very good natured but "clumsily in your face" and large, Lucky is possessive and not so good natured, but yet they "get on" I really enjoyed this John, classically animal crackers, well done, blessings Roy.

Cute. Was the picture your own?
I do believe a different font would improve readability, as in some places the words look ... smudgy. Your brother from a differing mother. Tom H

Yes, Darcy is on the left. I will change the font as you are the 2nd person to mention it.
Thanks? John

An excellent response to the family meeting prompt. It would indeed be quite a big thing for the dogs to have to accept more dogs and worry about sharing food and love and still feeling as special. Well done. Nicely written and with insight.
