Interesting! Are you from California, Jim? Or do you just dislike our Governor that much, LOL. I DO think we will see him running for President some day. And he does have a lovely smile.

Wow! What a preface to your story, and then, while the golf cart is in midair, we get to mosey around the back story. It's gonna be a long mosey if the golf cart's destination leads to "certain death". A fun start, though.

The latter. I'm originally from New York, but I've been a midwesterner and now a southerner for the last 50 years. I do have a brother who lives in San Jose, though.

So glad you were entertained by the prologue, Jay, and thanks for the great review and the stars.

Well, that was certainly an unexpected part one of two. I suppose the jump back in time will explain why Kevin was on a murder suicide mission. Good one, with Newsom becoming president. It could happen. Also, nice way to explain the golfing terms to the reader through dialogue.

Glad you enjoyed it, Lance. I like that: murder suicide mission!

Thanks for the good catch too.

I love the great names of your characters Jim. I looked hard for mistakes and found none.

Don't worry about gollf. It will never ever go away. It will just be for rich men like how it is now for vacations, gasoline, hunting and eating out.

I'm delighted by your review, D. I am worried about golf and hope I will have found a solution by the end that proves you wrong in your prediction.

I did find the prologue a bit complicated as I know nothing about golf jargon. Did you mention red headed girls here Jim? I must have missed that? Good luck with your new novel, love Dolly x

You didn't miss it. The first redhead will be coming either in the next chapter or the next. Just wanted to warn the readers of my first couple of novels so they won't say, "Another redhead? Jeesh!"
