Wow. These are brilliant! I hope you enter all the Flash Fiction contests and please do enter the Six Word contest even though it's poetry because these really tell a great story.
Defrosting grandmas (Grandma's) for the possessive and also since Grandma is used like a name here, it's capitalized. Otherwise, you have some frozen grannies...

Writing a ten-line poem may seem difficult, but what it looks and sounds like is completely up to you.
I think I shall never see,
a poem lovely as a tree.
This poem by Joyce Kilmer rhymes, but would say as much if say had written:
Trees are the poetry of my life,
each line a leaf.
Poetry, in my view, is up to you.

From what I've seen, a lot of them don't rhyme anyway for the 10 word poetry contest. Your 10 word flash fiction may have qualified.

Petry doesn't necessarily rhyme. The majority of what I write is prose. Your entry here certainly would qualify. I like your entry a lot. That said, I'd change the first two lines, not that it is better for the rest of readers but, how do you feel about:

homemade grandmas

Neither do I. Like you, at times I do give it a try and then hate myself for doing so. Sounds typical of a couple who has differences. For sure when married, troubles in the flesh are apparent. Thanks for sharing.
