This is a wonderful poem written in such a lyrical style it could almost be a song. I think it is an excellent entry for this contest. Thank you for entering the contest, and good luck. What a wonderful paean to your loving husband. This was so sweet! He sounds like a terrific guy, and it's no wonder you've been married to him for more than 50 years. In these days when over 50% of marriages end in divorce, that is beautiful to see. This was a very well-written, rhyming poem.

It's lovely that he still calls you darling after 30 years. your poem is a good testament to a successful marriage. you might work at finding more original rhymes and keeping your rhythm steadier. Still, the ideas come in nice and strong.
