What I like about this poem is that someone is speaking positively to the person with the addition, telling them, just like in the children's song, "you can turn it all around." Quite clever. Best wishes in the contest.

LOL I have known some first graders through the years that would probably be addicted. LOL They loved doing the Hokey Pokey and I loved doing it with them. Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. It's a fun one. Good luck with the contest.

LOL... You're too funny sometimes. If I could spin, I'd do it. If I could dance, I'd be on the dance floor on Friday night's down at the East Side when the band is playing instead of telling all the old guys that want me to dance with them that I'm out of commission! (Which bites, cuz some of them are kind of cute...)

find any fun and clever punch lines for those dances. Truthfully I hated the Hokey Pokey, but sure fun w people w this poem. Thanks dear friend!

I went to a huge bar in Manhattan one night with a friend. At exactly midnight, the lights started swirling and the dj yells "its Hokey Pokey time!" You have never seen so many people rush to the dance floor. This was a clever little poem. Tongue in cheek for sure. Turn yourself around. Love starting my morning off with something fun. Gretchen
