I love your story. I am glad that you told it from the perspective of both people involved. What a wonderful thing to give the man the money, and not expect repayment. That's the kind of giving that God blesses. We may not regain the money given, but we are blessed in many other ways. We can never outgive the Lord.

Anne, thank you for the six stars. What I did like about the story is that is was from the two perspectives. Thank you. Terry.

You are welcome, Teri

Don't worry, I think we all want to be approved of by someone that matters in our lives, but we still think we can hide from God when we do something we're not proud of, but He's so gracious, perhaps He ducks down the next aisle, so we won't see Him. Great story Terry, blessings Roy

Yes, sir, kind deeds breed kind deeds. What amazes me is: how long is it going to take for everyone to understand that train of thought. Thanks for sharing your feel good story.

What a wonderful story to read on this Thanksgiving morning. It always makes my heart glad to read something so caring and helpful. It's a shame that many people don't help more. You did a great job. Have a wonderful day. Shirley

That was absolutely lovely, Terry! What a fabulous contest entry. I would home someone would have helped my dad, too. I liked the way we have the story from both sides, and the older man keeps a $100 in his wallet to give it back, and the younger man hides! Lol. That is so thoughtful on both sides. Well done, I really enjoyed this story. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra, thank you very much for the great review. Terry.

Are you the main character in both parts of the story? Paying back the generosity bestowed on you to a needy person is exactly what you should do. This is a great Christmas story. You will win the contest. I'm sure of it.
Excellent.

Thank you for the six stars. What a great question you asked. It is actually a true story from a few years ago. It showed up last night unannounced. I got interested in it because I could tell it from two perspectives. Thank you. Terry.

This is a lovely story. Believable too, in this day and age.
Times are hard especially for us seniors who are not able to work or supplement our income. Not saying we are the only ones deserving help. Many different ways to be needy in this world, but this was lovely. Thanks for sharing this one Terry. Nancy:)

What a sweet story and easy to believe because I know you a bit!! Bonuses come year around and in all forms of generosity. I like the way you did the pay-it-forward example to round out the story and give a great deal of credence to the initial scene. Excellent work, Terry.

Thank you for the six stars and the stellar review. My interests were in the two points of view. Based on a true story. You all have some fun today, and go Cowboys. Terry.

I enjoyed this post immensely. I am sure your benefactor wanted to help you and his generosity rubbed off on you. Yes, your dad would be proud of you. Wouldn't it be great if we could keep the spirit of Christmas all year? Great story. Good luck in the contest. Sarah

Sarah, thank you for the kind review. It is a true story from a few years ago, when I was in my fifties. Terry.

The Bible says that when you do a good deed toward someone in need, you loan to God and he will repay you. Now stop and think about all that God does for you daily, without your even having to ask. For him to feel that he needs to repay you for doing something you should do anyway. Wow! Mind blown.
