Unfathomable You

This is a lovely presentation. The free verse is a departure for you, but you handled it beautifully. I like your use of questions. They ask whether God's love and power has any boundaries and if its depths are unfathomable. God is undestructible, the power of the universe. The narrator states that he is loved by God, even though he is unworthy. judi

Well written, Roy. Truly we cannot find the words to describe the greatness of God's love. It is far beyond what our human minds can comprehend. So glad His love is extended to all who will accept it.

Yes, there is no greater love than that of God, Roy.
Your poem had a clear and true message. It's there
for all of us--undeserved--yet we can become saved
and know it's true meaning. I liked the image you paired
with your meaningful poem.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

Comment from Pam (respa)
-Very nice image and presentation, Roy.
-I like the opening two lines addressing God,
and creation of the universe.
-You ask very good questions for which
the answer might be 'boundless,' 'infinite,' or limitless.
-I also like the two closing lines about not being "bought or enslaved."
-I liked the poem and the style.

Another outstanding post, my friend :) I wish I had a six for this. Although, all your poems are worthy of a ten. I loved the way you describe the love God has for us. This is very inspiring to read this morning!
Always your fan,
Shana :)

Hi Roy,
Yes we are all undeserving of such love, but we have it, if we accept it.
Sometimes we forget we are not his only creations, but the whole universe is.
Keep writing and stay healthy

We do need to be reminded constantly of God's grace and generosity when he gifted us with the sacrifice of His Son so that we might gain life. Undeserved kindness that should inspire us to be as forgiving.

so this is God speaking, as to each of us, individually? Lovely thought, and unarguably believeable for He has looked after me despite the mistakes made. Be well.
