What a superb tribute to a beloved, departed spouse and the depth of love shared -it is simply delightful to read of true love especially in these times when even love seems to be now being consigned to the realms of 'fast' like fast food and such like. Condoleances on your great loss.

Thank you, Zanya, for such a nice review and stars. She, like all of us,
She had her faults; I just couldn't find them. I consider myself one of the luckiest men in the world to have met her before someone else scooped her up' Thanks for the nice review and stars. Willie

It was absolutely beautiful. Yiurblove story is a fairytale. You were very blessed to share sixty years together, Accept my condolences on your loss. Our loved ones always stay with us in spirit, they look over us from above and give us strength to carry on.
Great imagery, visuals and presentation.

I'd give 1 6 if I had one left. This is a well-written and composed piece, but, as always it's the content that speaks louder than its words. It took me back, 6 1/2 months ( still a tender spot) when my Mom passed because in that September, 2months ago they would have been Married 72 years. She too left and my dad remains here alone at 96 yrs. Though not alone, like my mom we take care of them at home. May I offer you this small excerpt from one of my poems?
There is a place where our tears run
Once they leave our face
they drop into the Savior's hand
In exchange for Grace
Sorry I ran on so much, but you sparked my heart.

Such a lovely poem. It tells the love story, and I could picture the two together snuggling in the back of the theater. The rhyming felt effortless and natural as if they were exactly the best words. I enjoyed reading this poem.

Willie...
What a great tribute to a lifelong love story relationship. I liked how you recounted the entire journey and the growth in your relationship in just five stanzas. Well done.
Sixty-one years of love, joy, beauty, and adventure is quite a journey. I celebrate your long and lasting love story and mourn your loss. Thanks for honoring her memory and sharing your story.
Blessings...

I am glad I saved a six for this beautiful poem of love. It is heartfelt, sad but enchanting that happiness and true love could last for 60 years and beyond.
Beautiful lady.
Best wishes

The author's words share a beautiful love story. I found these words
filled with intimacy, closeness and unconditional love. The picture is
beautiful and the author's choice of print goes very well with these words.
The reading of these words was heartfelt. Have a great weekend! Maria

How beautiful this was. Only wish I had a six left in my arsenal. Your author notes were just as lovely. It is a wonderful feeling to find that one true person for you. I'm one of the lucky ones as well. Not 60 plus years but nearing 30. It's been an awesome ride. The rhyming was spot on. The feeling throughout was one of pure joy. Loved this. Gretchen

This poem is both a lovely recollection and a stirring tribute to your lifelong love. It is a testament to you both that you kept the faith until your ultimate separation.

Love. What would any of us be without it? There sure are many more memories, I'm sure, during those many years that make your nights and days special. I feel the same for my wife.
