Beautiful. The questions ee have without answers. There is no way to answer these. Time still continues. The past cannot be erased. We just find new clouds to wonder about. Life remains a mystery. Beautiful and thought provoking. Gretchen

What a wonderful picture of the clouds from above, Roy. You definitely asked a lot of questions in this poem, every sentence became a new question. It truly made me think on this awhile? Blessings.

I REALLY like quaterns; yours is excellent--skillfully written, deep, and thought-provoking. There are so many questions surrounding this life.
Some will never answered down here.

Oh, wow. This is the second of yours I've read this week, I think, but I just couldn't NOT. This is beautiful and perfect in its poetic restraints, and I commend you. I'm not sure if the system will accept my six stars, as I might have run out this week, but you deserve them. Thanks for this one.

I think all of us has asked and pondered those questions many times and yet no answers. Thank you for sharing this beautifully written statement on mankind. Yet, God still loves us.

Hi Ray, your poem is thought provoking and asks questions that many of u think about from time to time. Of special note:
How many men will sin still stain.
(As long as Man has free will, there will be sin. Perhaps, the end of time will come when Man sins no more--how beautiful would that be!)
Beautiful photo choice. Well done. Keep the blue waters flowing.

This well written quaternary uses a child's curious questioning to lead human to darker questions we all ask as adults and want answers to. Working in faith is the answer to most.
Keep writing and stay healthy.

Clever. A question though ... where has this piece been since Jan '21?
has it been a W.I.P.? Saved for a rainy day? I have such a file when I cannot find a contest just right to match its power. Be well.

How many raindrops in a cloud? We cannot count the numbers of misdemeanors man has committed. Some animals, many creatures have suffered at the cruelty of man. God gave us the creatures for food but man has used them for sport. Your poem is so different to what you usually pen. "We, like sheep have gone astray." I'm glad we belong to Him. K xx
