An excellent write, Roy. Yes, none can hide from Him, and for those who love Him there is comfort in knowing that even the darkness of grief, persecution or difficulty can separate us from His love, care and wisdom. Well written!!

This was definitely a spiritual poem.
Four quatrains was an effective form to choose. I think you included all the important words for spiritual thoughts, like creation's, hearts, love, light, silence, peace, faith, mercy, prayer, grace, etc. I think I liked these lines best:
My prayer is that faith pierces night,
that darkness trembles, then takes flight.
It seems to have an implied metaphor there, with 'flight' suggesting perhaps that darkness has something in common with a bird that might be easily frightened into flying away. Strong sense of rhythm and rhyme, as always!

I enjoyed this spiritual verse exploring one's faith.
The repeated phrases were effective to circle the reader back to poems beginning, further strengthening the message.
The tone is one of positivity, and I think with the state of our country- world we can all use inspiration for a brighter tomorrow.
Thank you for sharing.

Wow, what a beautiful poem, Roy. You describe that sacred place where God's beautiful nature holds an intimate place no one else can share, it's just you and God. The imagery is outstanding as the presentation is too. Well done, my friend.

You're so right - there is no place that we can hide from God. And He knows everything about us - even those things we don't know about ourselves. Beautiful spiritual poem, Roy! You must reflect a lot on the wings of the morning.

I'm not sure if you've ever bettered this poem, Roy. The phrasing here floats effortlessly. You pose questions then provide the answers. Best line.
'My prayer is that Faith pierces night.' Just superb.
My translation and my belief. "My prayer is that the Lord forgives.'

Your skillfully written, deeply reverent poem conveys a powerful message about our omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent God. We must strive to do His will so these realities won't terrify us!

You can go anywhere your mind desires. It could be an at home or outdoor adventure. It was lovely work. Nice poem. However, I question "crimson tide". It has double meaning to inbreeding because, a few years ago, I saw it in a film with the same title.

I have been gone from Fanstory for close to 2 years. So happy that I came back and your poetry was the first thing I find. I love the value of silence. The older I get the more I cherish it. God does speak through noise and chaos but it is in those quiet moments that I truly hear him. Once again your poetry has grounded me. Keep up your moving and spiritually uplifting work

Roy,
Your poem shines as you stress God's power, yet His gentle, loving nature. It reminds me of the 23rd psalm that stresses He is with us, even in the shadow of death. No problem or situation is too big for God's light. We just need to embrace His light.
Beautiful work, Roy.
Good luck!
Blessings
I love your unique use of adjectives: dawn's mercy glow, deepest night....
