This is an excellent entry for the 250 word flash fiction contest. You have managed to put together in your limited number of words a slightly satirical commentary and philosophy essay on a topical subject with a powerful twist in the tail. Fine writing. Kate xx

This writing gave me a much-needed chuckle. You took a rather touchy subject and made it into humor. How can guns be controlled when there are already millions of them owned by private citizens. Most never were registered and never will be. I own two guns myself and have had them for years. Just about everyone I know possesses a gun or two. There are no ways to control guns. If some goon wants one he will find a way to get it.

Well ... certainly timely. Tongue in cheek, I hope. Hey, friend, some real problems with Html garbage trying to replace dashes with mini-swearwords: ""When will junior â?"" and "Depends on if he â?". And while you're at it, why not use the double (--) hyphen, which should always be used instead of the single one, unless your intent is to hyphenate a word. Grammatically, they're called EM dashes and preferably are joined together (though they still have to be cleaned up from the editnazi.
This piece is too good not to have every word understood. So you should go back and get that part done. Good luck, Bill. Jay

Well, there seems to be a bit of sarcastic humor being poked at the current absurdity regarding gun issues. Why not, we need a little humor to tone down the bitterness of our plight in grocery stores, schools, churches, and homes. Well done.

Well that is a scary thought. I'm sure the NRA would approve. Actually we used to give little boys top pistols by the time they were walking thinking it would make them all continue to want to continue to be boys. Now we give both sexes computer games so they can practice shooting what looks like real people.

We move forward, fall, and try again, I guess.
